My So-Called Mets Recap
So I sit down to watch the Mets game tonight and I wanna say that they really piss me off. I'm watching them have an 8-0 lead and I'm thinking "they'll blow it" but even they couldn’t blow a lead that big right....Wrong, they did. I change the channel for 10 minutes and the god damn score is 8-6. Later on, as usual their "relief" gave up two runs in the 9th inning to officially blow an 8 run lead...all I can say is JESUS FUCKING CHRIST MAN !!!!! What the hell is that organization spending all their money for.. last place, cause if they are they're doing a good job then. It shouldn’t even matter that they won tonight in extra innings.... they still piss me the hell off and I really have to wonder why I love that friggin pain in the ass team.
While I'm at it, I have one final thought for the Mets....DON'T EVER TAKE PEDRO OUT OF A GAME I don't care the situation, I don’t care if his pitching arm was severed in a tragic collision with Beltran and Cameron, never do it. Maybe they should clone Pedro 10 times so this way they would have a good starting staff as well as a good bullpen as opposed to their current bullpen which completely sucks ass!

Ya know, I don't know much about baseball. I've pretty much hated it my whole life until last year, when I got sucked into the World Series. I watched the last games with Terry (LoneStar), and very much enjoyed them. I don't know if it was becasuse he was finally explaining the game mechanics, or if it was the fact that the Sox were kickin' ass and taking names on their way to break a nasty 'curse'.
Unfortunately, I haven't watched a SINGLE game this year. Damn World of Warcraft game. Grrrr
Ok.. I'm done ramblin'. ;)
I love the fact that the Red Sox are first in their division, and 3rd overall. Feels good.
As for Pedro...well, he wanted out of a winning team, so that's his problem.
As for the Mets as a whole, I feel your pain mang. Welcome to how it felt like being a Sox fan. We were dissapointed many many many many times over the years, but we still loved them deeply.
Phillies are in the wild card lead. A's are right in the race in the AL West. Life is good.
