No Brotherly Love Shown From Philly....
Earlier today yours truly via a text message conference challenged the incomprable Keg O War to a battle of the giants in ESPN 2K5 Hockey. The grueling match was set for a 9:20 PM est start time and was a highly anticipated one with Keg using the Philadelphia Flyers and the Capt (thats me fools) using the New York Islanders. It was a tight match that seen the scoring open up by yours truly at the 12:58 mark of the first period with a beautiful backhander from Oleg Kvasha. Keg answered with a stuff job shot by Jeremy Roenick (lucky if you ask me) 3:12 into the second period to knot the score at 1 all and then later on Keg "iced" the game at the 2:43 mark of the 3rd and final period on a sweet wrister by Tony Amonte to take the lead for good and make the final score 2-1 Flyers. A rematch scheduled for tomorrow and promises to be another barn burner as this rivalry carries on.
Final shots on goal for the game: Phila-43 NYI-33

Ooh! Ooh! I'll play! Nobody will play hockey with me, none of my friends play.
That Roenick shot wasn't lucky. It was a pure stuffer of the shot that just sneaked under DiPietro's skate.
See you for the rematch.
i think nhl 06 (ea version) really rocks...check it out
