Have A Nice Day

Yesterday Bon Jovi released their 9th studio album "Have A Nice Day" and I for one could not be happier. Save your smart ass Aqua Net jokes, they are not a hair band anymore so please spare me. Now on to business... I love the cd (I know, no shock there) but I will be honest for a second and put my fan-boy bias aside, the cd is real good and is a far better then their last one (Bounce). The first track on the cd is the albums self-titled track "Have A Nice Day" and is a GREAT freakin tune thats sets the ablum off on the right foot. I have to say that every cut on the album is almost as good with the one weak link being "Wildflower"... I'm just not feeling that song.
The cd is not their best one but I must say that it pleases me because after the let down of the last cd I am very happy and being super-geek fan # 1 it's a welcome comeback for me. Honestly I could not say which cd of thiers is my favorite, I love them all and its kinda like choosing which child of yours is your favorite, you just can't do it. Sometimes I jaw back and forth with my brother-in-law Sal about the merit of Bon Jovi's 7th album "Crush" although I like to give him a hard time I do love that cd and one of the tracks on it, "Captain Crash and the Beauty Queen from Mars" is the very song where I got my nickname/XBOX live Gamertag from (the 31 in the nickname is for Mike Piazza). I will offically let you off the hook Sal, "Crush" is great.... are you happy now?
Anyhow...get "Have A Nice Day" its awesome and I fully reccommend it. For the Bon Jovi haters out there, SCREW YOU- they have been around for 21 years and they are still selling out Giants Stadium so they've got nothing to prove and besides, lets see most of the crap artists today last half that long...shit, name me five artists from the 80's that are still around and going strong- and don't count that VH1 bands reuniting crap either, I mean real artists that have SURVIVED that long, not those losers that get an unexpected knock on their door from Ahmer Haleem begging them to get together for a one night only concert for VH1.

Anyway, toodles for now and........ HAVE A NICE DAY

It was a joke. Apparently, my comments aren't welcome here so I won't make them anymore.

Only 9th album? Weird that in all the years Bon Jovi's been around they've only put out 9 albums.

I haven't really gotten into anything they did since New Jersey. But I really liked Jon's solo album with the song Queen of New Orleans. Forgot the name of it though.

Bon Jovi broke up for 3 yrs in between New Jersey and the next cd... Keep the Faith, also they had 2 greatest hits cds, 2 live cds and a box set so all in all they have a descent catalogue of material but as for albums PROPER, there are only 9.

And the solo cd with the Queen of New Orleans is "Destination Anywhere"
