Weekend Stuff
This weekend I got my "geek" on and went to Philly for a video game trade show. I wish I could come back and have a ton of cool stories and pictures but I don't. As a matter of fact the show was a bit boring and there really was not much to see. There was a bunch of things but they were all crammed into one small area so basically you only needed about 2 hours tops to search through all vendors and see all of the sights so for me staying the whole weekend was a bit much. In general I still had a great time because I got to meet up with K O W, Misskow, Cold Justice and SAW. Its always cool getting to chill with the king of all FUGGO, there is never a dull moment and as a matter if fact I was reminded of a night around a year and a half ago when on the local train here in Staten Island K O W got into a dance off competition with a total stranger and won by way of this killer pole dancing move he pulled off to officially serve that guy (BTW misskow, where did he learn those moves?). Anyway back to the weekend: after the show we went back to the hotel for an EXCRUCIATINGLY LONG dinner, one that sucked I might add and then it was off for some drinking and poker... plain and simple fun except for the fact that I am really BAD at playing poker while drunk (KOW and misskow were the winners). In general the weekend was cool and I had a good time.
On another subject I am quitting smoking. Over the last week I have severly cut down and now today was the first day that I went completely without anything and its beginning to get to me. I have asked a few select watchdogs to help me out cause I am really going to need it (good job this weekend ram). I have a few reasons for needing and wanting to quit and with a little luck and a lot of help I can finally beat this thing. Smoking has haunted me since I was 15 and minus a period of about 3 years I was never really able to beat it but this time it must be for good. Damn this is going to suck!!

It IS going to suck but just think of how many years you'll be adding to your life! My sister has smoked on and off since she was like 12 and now she's 24. I'm scared for her everyday. You don't want to suffer from emphysema and all the other things smoking does to you. But you probably know all this and that's why your quitting! Good luck, and stay strong!
I know it sounds goofy, but I smoked for about half a year back in the dark ages (lmao it was like 3 years ago) and what helped for me when I quit was sucking on something else when I felt the cravings, like a pencil or something. Anything to trick myself into thinking I was smoking. I know it doesn't give you the nicotine fix, but after a while it works.
For you, though, I'm assuming you've smoked longer than six months. You might want to look into the patch or that gum stuff. Sucks that it's so expensive. Just keep your hands busy, find a stress ball or some of those little puzzle things that piss everyone off. The impossible ones.
Good luck!
Pros and Cons:
Pro:
You quit smoking
Con:
You threw in a dollar bet to call looking at 3 queens on the table. You should have raised big.
