Stop The Madness
Okay, so I know that I am opinionated person right but I think I created a monster here. I totally was pissed off at an issue and I sounded off on it but what I did not intend was for this to become a political forum here. I am all for a great debate but damn man, I think I might have lost a bit of control here and I want send out a call for sanity. I respect and admire EVERYONES opinion, lets face it, its great to see contrasting viewpoints and although I hope I did not offend anyone (really, I mean it) I will not apologize for my stance on the subject. Years ago I got a Bachelors Degree in Communications and during the course of my education I did a bunch of work with and for the media (that was my concentration) so my opinion on all that is media (music, movies, books and video games) is a bit biased. I know what goes into creation a show or a movie and to put your heart into something that gets trashed just cause a group of people do not like or agree with it to me is hard for me to digest.... sorry its who I am.
Anyway I want to change gears a bit because today was a great day for DVD releases. Today the awesome Tim Burton/Johnny Depp version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was released as well as a 3 disc collectors set consisting of 40 episodes of the worlds most dynamic duo of comedy; Beavis and Butt-Head. Now hold your wiseass comments for a second, that show was damn funny and in my mind it was one of a few inspirations for kick ass shows such as Family Guy.

Oh NO please tell me you are not celebrating B&B :) My husband saw their MOVIE. I was mortified. But at least you have a sense of humor.
Re: controversy. Don't worry, there's a whole protest going on, on other blogs I won't mention, bashing yours truly. So post your opinion! Isn't that why we have blogs? :)
