I have just finished watching my Mets defeat the team I hate more than anything in this world... the Yankees... man do I HATE them. Anyway the Mets took 2 out of 3 in the series and I guess its no surprise to me because I think that the Yankees are overpaid and overrated...fuck them.
Watching this 3 game series aged me about 10 years with all the close calls and tight situations. Actually if the Mets did not have a melt down on Saturday they would have swept the series.
I have no real point posting this but to simply rub the fact in that the Mets took the series from the Yankees so I just wanted to say to Yankee fans..... AHHH HAAAAA- your team sucks, get used to losing as well as being the "B" squad here in town.

Suck on it anonymous... the Yankees are lucky they did not get swept. As for the World Series, get over it- stop living in the past like every other pathetic Yankee fan who simply clings on to former glory. The funny thing is while Yankee fans always bring up the past they always seem to forget about blowing a 3-0 series lead to Boston.. btw how did it taste choking on that piece of humble pie?
I get disgusted when all you bitches whine saying "oooohh the Boston series is the past" guess what.. so was all those championships so stop bragging about them... your current team sucks!!!
wow, the mets won a few games.... At least the yanks win the 4 that matter....

Get over my comments.. the Yankees wont even make it out of the first round of the playoffs... just start thinking up excuses as to why the Mets go farther.
Funny, as the standings show today, the Yanks have won 24, lost 19.
The Mets have won 26, lost 17. Go Mets!!!!
Also, the Sox are first place in the AL East. Awe, too bad. 2nd place for the Yanks sound nice?
Oh yeah Crash, that game...the greatest choke in the history of baseball. Let's live in the past like our friend anonymous, not only did we pounded the Yanks, we went on to win the World Series that year.
One more item of note into the vast void of the Yankee Fanboy Mind, the misses and I watched a documentary on the Yankees, when the story moved to a girl in a suburb of NYC. Let's see, when was the last time they WON a World Series since 95? 4 times?
This little girl had the AUDACITY to say "It's our year!" The only thing I can think to say to that statement is, "Fuck you." You have no right to use those words when your team has so many World Series wins.
But it's even funnier now more than ever. They're spending how much on their team, and they're not even in first place? Damon moved to NYC, and that is now where the idiots play.

All I remember about that boston series was hanging out in the boston area with friends, playing some halo and being asked, it must be easy to like the yankees. I am glad I said, no.. ahahah.
yes it was a fucking choke, but it proved one thing. All the money in the world can't win the show, when all the players had no heart in it.
Well except for 1986, that hired team should of lost too, but the redsox's still had that curse. ;-)
