Digital Life

Today I went to the "Digital Life" expo at the Jacob Javits Center with ram2600. I have to say that the expo was okay, it was small and there was not too much to see but I still had a good time anyway. The XBOX 360 was having demos all day there and it was really cool getting to see it operate in person... the machine is MIGHTY and I was previously on the fence if I wanted to pick up the system at launch but seeing what it can do in person has officially sealed the deal for me and I am now SO picking it up on Nov. 22. Other than that there was some other neat stuff there too, Nintendo had a nice booth there with a lot of sweet DS stuff and a cool working version of Mario Soccer. The real highlight if the day was meeting up with fellow gamers PEZinvaders and M249 SAW. I have met PEZ before (and have also played countless hours of Halo 2 with her as well) so I already know that she is one of the coolest persons you will ever want to meet, I can't say enough how nice it was to get to see her again and also how much better the expo got once ram and I meet up with her. Now I would also be a fool if I also did'nt mention how cool it was to get to meet SAW for the first time. Saw is definately one of the nicest guys I have had the pleasure to hang with, very easy to chat with and an all around kick ass kinda guy.... ROCK ON SAW, you are definately cool in my book homie.
I have included some pics from today courtesy of ram (I was an idiot and I forgot my camera at
home today) . The first pic is me in the middle with SAW and PEZ; the second pic is Pac-Man eating my head; the third pic is me with the "Digital Life" chicks; and the last pic is ram with SAW and PEZ.

I can't see the photos! Anyway, what's so impressive about Xbox 360? My seven year old son really wants one and I'm sure his dad will talk me into letting them get it, but I'd like to know what the buzz is all about...
