Supernaturally Cool
Today was another smoke free one but I am not going to mention it everyday after this, I don't want this blog being all about that so I will probably post weekly smoke free updates. Anyway today was long and drawn out. Thankfully the work day ended (after what seemed to be like a 300 hour shift) and when I got home I decided to do a bit of Tivo catching up because I got two weeks of shows taped and have not watched a single one. I decided to watch the last two episodes of Supernatural and all I gotta say is HOLY SHIT. The end of this weeks episode was a complete shock that I did not see coming. SPOILER ALERT: I absoluetly had no freakin clue that the father would still be alive, as a matter of fact I must suck at guessing because I thought that he was a goner and that his sons would fruitlessly search for him only to find out that he was dead... sorta like Moulder looking for his missing sister. In a way I thought the whole series would be like a wild goose chace with the boys always being one step behind their father (although still being hot on the trail). Either way I was wrong and now we know that the father is alive and possibly always close by. This new twist gives the show a whole new dynamic and now that viewers have the mystery of the fathers whereabouts answered we are forced to look in a whole new direction. Why is the father hiding from Sam and Dean? Why were we as viewers told he was alive only a few episodes into the series? I have more questions but I don't want to sound like any more of a geek than I already do, I will finish my thoughts by saying I admire the fact that this show so early into its life just took one of its main roots and yanked it right out of the ground. This has left me wondering where the hell they are going to go with this.... that is so damn cool.

I really wish I had tivo, is it worth the money for a cheap guy like me who LOVES tv to get it?
Smoke free does that mean you are not smoking if so, congrats! :)
YES, its worth every penny. Once you have it you will never watch TV the same... and you will never go back to watching it the old way ever again.
I'm with you all the way about Supernatural! What a shocker, this episode could've easily been the season finale with an ending like that. Good stuff, this show conitinues to impress me. I still say the first two episodes have been the best though. I did like the shape shifter one, that had to be the goriest thing I've ever seen on tv when he tore his skin off.
I have to agree with the capt. We got a DVR (that's the same as Tivo right?) on a 6 month special and I'm slowly becoming addicted...not sure if I'll be able to give it up after the special is over. We also got an HD receiver to go with our new HDTV flat screen. I'm hooked!
I am afraid to get one of these. My SO might never leave the house again!
Tivo Rules... you completly change the way you watch TV. Its on your terms... Watch more in less time... w00t.
Back to topic on hand...
This was a suprising show, I did not expect to like it so. Though if I did not have Tivo, I dont thing I would of watch it. ;-)
