Ok so here is an example of being careful for what you ask for....
A little while ago my cousin found out that I was taking bass lessons and in his infinate awesomeness he had offered me a free bass amp. At first I was hesitant to take it because my apatrment is REALLY REALLY small and I figured that I would have no where to put it. Lets put it this way my apartment is just cozy enough for little 5 ft tall me.
Recently I was thinking that I was going to upgrade my bass and that I would most likely settle down with a nice 5 string bass but thats where my problem began. I figured if I am going to invest in a really nice bass I might as well get a better amp than the teeny little 10 watt amp that I got, and that led me to think "fuck it, I might as well take my cousin up on his offer before it is off the table and then I am stuck shelling out a couple of hundred bucks on a new amp". I figured that I will worry about the space when I get the amp..... well guess what.... I AM A FUCKING IDIOT..
take a look at the size of this damn thing, it is freakin bigger than me!
I think I may have to find a nice place to store this because it's either the amp or me in the apartment!

Go for it man! It looks like from the picture you have just enough room to store it.
If playing your bass with an amp makes it complete, then take your cousin's offer and enjoy his generosity.

I would say move the cabinet to the left a foot or so and squeeze the amp there between the cabinet and the futon.
Holy shit, that's almost the same amp head that I used to own! No worries, if you don't want it, I'll take it! lol
