Zero Hour Approaching
We have one day left before the XBOX 360 is released and the anticipation is high (for me anyway). The release will mark the beginning of the end for our current generation of game consoles and sadly enough the end of the wonderful original XBOX. Due to its hefty pricetag and high demand many gamers that are interested might not get the 360 on Tuesday so for some XBOX fans the original system will linger on a with lame duck status for just a bit longer before owners make the inevitable switch. I am totally psyched about it and have taken steps to prepare for the 360's release by reserving it early and trading in a ton of my old games to put towards my 360 fund. I have also agonized over the lean list of launch titles and came to the conclusion that the first game I will buy with the console is Perfect Dark Zero which looks pretty damn cool and has the potential to be big fun online. Who am I kidding, I am a sucker for FPS online fragfests so getting the game was a no brainer for me. I also know that I will be getting Call of Duty 2 and Kameo: Elements of Power in the first week (a little birdie told me that they already bought them for me) so that makes at least 3 games that I will be digging on this week and depending on how much store credit I have leftover after accessories, I may consider getting Quake 4 or Tony Hawk: American Wasteland to make it an even 4 titles at release for me.
In non-game related news tomorrow (Monday) my sister-in-law is due to give birth, making me an uncle for the fourth time and that above all KICKS ASS. It will be a girl and that will make it 2 nieces and two nephews for me..... I totally can't wait.

Congrats on being an uncle again, Capt. I'll be looking for ya in Perfect Dark on tuesday! (I hope)
I am fascinated by the fascination with technology... my son (who is 14) is really obsessed. I admit I just don't get it, but I do support his habit, hehe.
Anyway, hope you are still smoke free & congrats on the new baby!
Awww another new baby enters the world. As long as I'm not the one delivering it's a good thing! Will you be presenting the child with an Xbox controller or starting her out on something more basic like a Nintendo to teach some appreciation for today's graphics? :)
